I’m James Bloodsaw, and JustVeggiez began with a promise I made to my father. Before he passed, he told me not to end up like him. I listened. After losing him, I found my purpose: feeding my community the food I wish he had. That promise lives on at JustVeggiez—located at 540 State St, Madison, WI.
Turning Pain into Purpose🍔
Losing my dad was hard, but it opened my eyes. I saw how food was hurting us—not helping. I didn’t want my kids, or anyone else’s, to face what my family did. I decided to use plant-based cooking to help us heal. That’s how JustVeggiez was born—through loss, but with purpose.
